Darrin J. Jackson, MD

"Dr. Darrin Jackson is a Primary Care and Emergency Department physician, that believes everyone should have equal access to quality affordable healthcare. Being born and raised in rural Liberty, Mississippi, Dr. Jackson witnessed firsthand the effects of not having accessible care when needed. Throughout life and medical school, he learned the importance of physical and mental health to obtain overall wellness. Dr. Jackson chose Primary Care as a specialty because he values the importance of a patient – provider relationship and focuses on nurturing those relationships. He has practiced primarily outpatient (clinical) medicine, inpatient (hospital), and intensive care medicine as well.

Dr. Jackson attended Jackson State University for his undergraduate education earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (2006), then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical school (2013). He went on to complete his Family Medicine residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (2016)."

"Grace Health Clinic, LLC, was founded by Darrin Jackson, MD, during the summer of 2018, as a primary care health clinic. The mission of Grace Health Clinic is to meet the growing needs of patients in the states of Mississippi and Louisiana. Grace Health also has resources available for individuals needing care in the area of Behavioral Health. The clinic currently operates an office in Slidell and as an online-platform via eVisit (virtual visits/telemedicine). Grace Health Clinic has plans, which will see a physical location, located in Lacombe, LA. The clinic currently treats minor acute illnesses and common chronic medical illnesses. Compassion and close patient-provider relationships are among the core values of Grace Health Clinic. Grace Health Clinic also seeks to simplify the complex financial aspect of medicine. While Grace Health does accept patients with traditional insurance, the clinic also offers alternative payment options through its Direct Primary Care program for under-insured patients or individuals with no health insurance. Our goal is to lower the cost that patients pay for care by limiting or eliminating third-party sources and concentrating more on meeting the needs of our patients."
