"Dr. Darrin Jackson is a Primary Care and Emergency Department physician, that believes everyone should have equal access to quality affordable healthcare. Being born and raised in rural Liberty, Mississippi, Dr. Jackson witnessed firsthand the effects of not having accessible care when needed. Throughout life and medical school, he learned the importance of physical and mental health to obtain overall wellness. Dr. Jackson chose Primary Care as a specialty because he values the importance of a patient – provider relationship and focuses on nurturing those relationships. He has practiced primarily outpatient (clinical) medicine, inpatient (hospital), and intensive care medicine as well.
Dr. Jackson attended Jackson State University for his undergraduate education earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (2006), then earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical school (2013). He went on to complete his Family Medicine residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (2016)."
