Dawn graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville with a Bachelor's in Biology and chemistry minor in 2002. She went on to complete the accelerated nursing program at University of Missouri-St Louis and graduated with Bachelor's in Nursing in 2005. She finished the Masters program in Nursing at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 2010. Dawn has worked in the Emergency Department and Urgent care clinic in southern Illinois until the pandemic when she decided to focus on telemedicine.
