Lorie Poston

Meet Dr. Lorie Poston, a compassionate and experienced nurse practitioner with dual board certification in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care and Family Medicine. With over 14 years of experience in both hospital and office-based medicine, as well as leadership roles, she has honed her skills in providing comprehensive and personalized care to her patients.

She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2014 from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Lorie is passionate about meeting her patients where they are and forging meaningful connections with them. She strongly believes that a balance of mental and physical wellness is the key to living a fulfilling life.

Telehealth Care Florida provides general medical care and sick visits via virtual care services to adults (18 & older only) in the states of Florida, Virginia or New Mexico at the time of the appointment.

*Please respect the provider's time and that of other patients, and DO NOT request an appointment if you are not certain you will attend.

• "No shows" will be ineligible to schedule future appointments.*
• Basic appointments (most sick visits and follow ups) are 15 minutes.
• Multiple chronic conditions or concerns or if > 2 medication refill requests are 30 minutes.
• Initial Weight Loss consultations are 30 minutes (standard guidelines are followed for medication weight loss therapy, e.g., candidates have a BMI of 30 or higher).
• An excuse for work or academics can be provided.  
• Controlled substances, hormone replacement therapy, fertility drugs, and Gabapentin are NOT prescribed.
• Completion of forms, such as FMLA or Disability paperwork, is not provided via telehealth.
