About Raleigh Eye Center

"The professional ophthalmologists, optometrists, opticians and staff at Raleigh Eye Center and The Optical Dispensary provide exceptional eye care in Raleigh, NC and throughout the Triangle. We’re proud to have built a reputation of quality, comprehensive eye care, from designer frames and lenses to LASIK, cataract to glaucoma treatment. Our patients have come to depend on our skills, whether they need a routine eye exam, medical treatment or a corrective eye surgery.

In 1922, ophthalmologist Vonnie M. Hicks, MD began practicing with a small group of physicians in downtown Raleigh. His lifelong dedication to eye care would lay the foundation for what would become Raleigh Eye Center in 1980. Now, almost a century later, our dedicated group of physicians is considered some of the most respected eye doctors in Raleigh and beyond."
