"James J. Naramore, MD, graduated from the University Of Utah College Of Medicine. He completed his Family Practice Residency at the University of Nebraska Affiliated Hospitals at Omaha, Nebraska. He is board certified and has been recertified every six years by the American Board of Family Medicine. James is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is an Aviation Medical Examiner for the Federal Aviation Administration. Dr. Naramore has been certified by the American Association of Medical Review Officers as a Medical Review Officer—he is qualified to review urine drug screens for the US Department of Transportation. Additionally, Dr. Naramore is certified to perform DOT physicals according to DOT requirements.
Dr. Naramore was born in Gillette, raised here, and returned here in 1980 to serve this community. He has previously served on the Wyoming Board of Medicine’s Advisory Council for Physician Assistants for 17 years, and he served as medical director at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home for 21 years. He has also been involved continuously with Campbell County Memorial Hospital’s patient care and committees."
