Ellen Brown, MD

"Dr. Ellen Brown is a native of WV who lives in Vienna with her husband and daughter. Dr. Brown is a WVU alumni and is board-certified in Family Medicine. Over the course of her 15-year career, she has worked in many different types of practices and has experience treating patients of all ages. On starting this new practice, she states, “The medical field today is very different than it was years ago. Much of what I enjoyed most about Family Medicine—the continuity of care, knowing my patients personally, and getting to spend adequate time with them during visits—had gotten lost in the system. I wanted to create a practice that would change all of that. With this practice model, I can clear the channel between doctor and patient, make medical care more convenient and direct, and offer the kind of relationship and connection that makes managing healthcare a true collaborative effort."
