Doctor Details:

"Alice Dinter Manos (she/her) is a primary care physician trained in internal medicine. She completed medical school and internal medicine residency at the University of Washington with a focus on primary care. During residency, Alice worked at the Madison Clinic at Harborview Medical Center providing primary care to patients living with HIV. She also created a Trans Health Elective to educate resident physicians on gender affirming care and co-founded the Health Equity Pathway, which teaches residents how to apply anti-oppression frameworks to address health inequities at interpersonal, societal and institutional levels. Prior to entering medicine, Alice worked as a birth doula at SeaMar Medical Center in Burien, as a medical case manager for people living with HIV at the Gay and Lesbian Latino AIDS Education Initiative in Philadelphia, and as a staff member at Spiral Q Puppet Theater (a community arts and social justice organization best known for their giant puppets at celebratory events and protests).

As a queer physician, Alice cares deeply about providing medical care that matches her patients’ values and supports the lives they live. She welcomes patients of all sexual orientations and genders and provides gender affirming care for transgender and non-binary folks including hormone therapy. She also provides primary care for people living with HIV.

When she’s not taking care of patients, Alice enjoys spending time with her partner Jesse and their kiddo, bike camping, learning guitar and making earrings out of found materials. In addition to English, she speaks Spanish and German."

Clinic Details:

"Capitol Hill Medical is an LGBTQ focused clinic that exists to serve the unique medical needs of the Seattle LGBTQ community. Gay, Lesbian, Trans*, and those patients in between often have significant distrust of the medical community - the result of an inability of providers to relate to or understand them, the fear of being judged, and in the worst cases, outright discrimination. We are LGBTQ clinicians in Seattle offering primary care services to gays, lesbians, bisexuals, trans,* and queer patients, as well as our allies and friends. Among our clinical interests are sexual health, HIV management, and hormone therapy to our trans* patients who are in transition.

Our mission is to improve the health and well-being of our patients by offering the highest quality evidence-based medicine in a setting of open acceptance.

Our goal is to create a clinic where you feel safe, celebrated, and healthy. Ultimately, we believe that compassion begins with self-identity, and have founded our clinic to model acceptance, open and honest healthcare, and to provide answers for the unique issues that we face in our lives. We strive to provide the holistic, personalized, and empowering care that our community deserves."
