Brenda Canada, FNP

"Brenda H. Canada, F.N.P. earned her Registered Nursing degree at Virginia Baptist Hospital School of Nursing.  Her Bachelor’s Degree was obtained at the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University in 1992.  In 1997, Ms. Canada obtained her Master of Science Degree and post-graduate Nurse Practitioner Certificate also from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University.  She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau honor society.  Ms. Canada has nursing experience in pediatrics, urology, and quality management.  She was employed at Chippenham Medical Center for a great deal of her work experience.  Ms. Canada is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of adjunct faculty for the Nurse Practitioner Program at Virginia Commonwealth University, teaching students in the Family Practice setting.  Her interests include diabetes management and family health.  She performs skin surgeries and enjoys participating in provision of health care management."
