Melissa Alcox, PA-C

"Melissa Alcox is a physician assistant certified by the NCCPA and licensed by the state of Virginia. Melissa grew up in Virginia Beach and graduated from Cox High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University where she majored in health sciences and minored in biology and pre-physician assistant studies. During college, she volunteered with the Virginia Beach rescue squad. Melissa received her Master’s in Medical Science and an additional Bachelor of Science degree after completing the PA program at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. During PA school, she served as the Florida Academy of PAs student representative for her school, and traveled the state of Florida advocating for PA students. She then moved back to Hampton Roads and practiced emergency medicine until joining Pariser Dermatology in 2007. She practices medical and cosmetic dermatology, and loves building long term relationships with her patients."
