Jose A. Marin, MD

"Dr. Jose A. Marin is a board-certified Family Medicine physician and works both as a hospitalist and as a primary care physician at Transmountain Primary Care, which he founded in 2017. He currently has hospital affiliations at the Hospitals of Providence, Las Palmas Del Sol, and University Medical Center.

He started practicing medicine as a General Surgeon in Mexico in 1999 and completed his residency in Family Medicine in Mayaguez Medical Center in Puerto Rico in June, 2015.

Dr. Marin is a Clinical Associate Professor at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine in Las Cruces, New Mexico, as well as Community Partner at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso. He volunteers his time interviewing potential students for Texas Tech’s School of Medicine, as well as providing externship opportunities for medical students at Texas Tech and Burrell."
