"Joy Keeton, RN, BSN, FNP-C is the owner and Nurse Practitioner that you will see at Godley Family Medicine. She is a GHS graduate and was raised in Godley. She has been a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2014, graduating from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree in 2010 and then Master of Science in Nursing in 2014. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Her nursing career started in 2002, as a Weatherforld College graduate from the Licensed Vocational Nursing Program. She then continued her education to become a Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree of Science in Nursing in 2009.
As a Registered Nurse, she worked primarily in the Emergency Room until becoming a Nurse Practitioner. She currently works as Nurse Practitioner at John Peter Smith Urgent Care in Fort Worth. She also does per diem HouseCalls for Optum/United Healthcare as well as a clinical instructor for the University of Texas at Arlington Family Nurse Practitioner Program.
Her ultimate goal is to provide the Godley community with affordable, accessible healthcare that is so desperately needed."
