"Dr. Robert J. Cornell is a board-certified urologist practicing in downtown Houston. He specializes in the treatment of genitourinary disease — disease of the genital and urinary organs — in both men and women. Dr. Cornell's areas of expertise include treatment of urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction after prostate cancer surgery, treatment of urinary symptoms of prostate enlargement, treatment of urinary leakage and urgency in women, and diagnosis and treatment of prostate cancer and its surgical complications.
Dr. Cornell began at Allegheny College in his hometown of Meadville, Pennsylvania, where he graduated with high honors. He went on to earn his medical doctorate from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. Following this, Dr. Cornell completed his residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in the Scott Department of Urology and his general surgical training at the Michael E. DeBakey Department of General Surgery.
