"“Dr. Jen” Wheeler loves practicing medicine as a board certified pediatrician at Preston Centre Pediatrics.  She obtained her undergraduate degree in English Literature from Mt. Holyoke College in South Hadley, Massachusetts before returning to Texas and attending UT Southwestern Medical School here in Dallas.  She completed her residency at Children’s Medical Center in the spring of 2000, welcomed first child, Jack, in July and began working with Dr. Joe in September.  Jack was joined by brother Sam in 2003.  Jennifer enjoys actively participating in their lives and can often be found helping out the Highland Park orchestra or cheering on the Scots lacrosse team.  In her spare time, she enjoys reading and frequent travel to the the mountains of Colorado and New Hampshire to hike, ski and visit family.”"

Patients (or their parents) contact our pediatricians after hours by selecting option 2 for transfer to the on-call physician’s mobile phone to enable timely advice or personal management whether in the office or at a local ER.
