"When I became a physician, I made an oath to care for my patients.  My goal in creating Simply Medicine is to honor this oath by simplifying health care, improving my patients’ health, and providing personalized, accessible care.   

Education has always played an important role in my journey.  I completed my undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin, where I majored in Government and Sociology.  After college, I worked for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in Washington D.C., in their office of policy and legislation, where I broadened my depth of understanding of our healthcare system.

I then returned to Houston, Texas to earn my Medical Degree from the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine.  I dedicated an extra year of training to the Medical Student Research Tract, where I researched and authored scholarly papers about the immune system.  I continued at Baylor College of Medicine to complete a dual residency program.  I completed my Pediatrics residency and am a board certified Pediatrician.  I also completed an Internal Medicine residency and am a board certified Adult Internist.  

I am a strong believer in giving back to the community.  I have served as an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine and led numerous community health education programs and medical conference presentations over the years.  Prior to opening Simply Medicine, I worked at Legacy Community Health, where I cared for Houston’s most vulnerable, underserved, and uninsured children and adults.  I formed long lasting bonds with my patients and delivered care that addressed many complex needs.  One particularly meaningful experience was highlighted in the Spring 2018 Legacy Newsletter.

"Simply Medicine is changing the face of medicine.  We are a combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics concierge primary care practice.  This is the first practice of its kind serving Bellaire, and one of only a handful in the Houston area.

To achieve this high standard of care, we do not accept insurance.  By eliminating the confines of insurance, Dr. Miller is able to see fewer patients, spend more time with each individual, provide higher quality care, and radically change the healthcare experience for her patients.  She has the flexibility to care for her patients in ways that simplify their lives and improve their health, like offering free in-home visits for newborns during their first month of life.

With a monthly membership fee, you have unlimited access to our services, including telemedicine visits, extended office visits, zero wait times, and 24/7 access to Dr. Miller’s personal cell phone, e-mail, and text.  All lab work and in-office testing, including COVID-19, are included.  No co-pays.  No elevator music or phone trees.
