"Dr. Andy John Gray has been caring for families in the Lubbock, Texas area for the past twenty years. He is certified by the American board of Family Practitioners, and is committed to providing intensive primary care that is personalized, compassionate and thoughtful.
Developing the concept of "preferredMD", Dr. Gray opened his practice in January, 2004. He was ready to return to the "horse and buggy" style of medicine that seemed to have vanished. After growing up in Alpine, Texas, where he had been cared for by doctors who offered personalized and compassionate patient care, Dr. Gray was prepared to renew that style of medicine for his patients. He wanted to take the time necessary with each individual, to know them and their concerns, allowing him to thoroughly understand and address their medical questions and needs. He was determined to offer "a new level of care, with an old level of caring."
In addition to diagnosing and treating illnesses with the newest medications, tests, and natural remedies available, Dr. Gray is committed to prevention. Preventative care involves identifying risk factors, employing the most current medical research and facts to proactively discover and treat illnesses before serious consequences occur. He believes that early detection and aggressive treatment of potential illnesses are fundamental to enjoy a healthy lifestyle.
Every aspect of your personal health can be assessed in a trusting, confidential and comfortable environment. With a maximum of 500 patients, Dr. Gray is uniquely qualified to provide an enhanced quality of care to patients.
