"Dr. Heckrodt received his MD from the University of Oklahoma Sciences Center and then went on to do his internship and residency in family practice at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He is the supervising physician at IMC Victoria and San Antonio/Oak Hills. He takes a special interest in aviation and serves as senior aviation medical examiner for the Federal Aviation Administration. He enjoys flying, shooting, hunting, reading and scuba diving with his wife and his two children."
