"Rachel is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 10+ years of experience in the nursing field.
After graduation from Hardin-Simmons University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, she began her career as an RN in the Intensive Care Unit of Medical City of Denton. Afterwards she transitioned to her first stint at Destination Health before moving on to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center of Grapevine, where she was charge nurse and nurse supervisor on the cardiac unit.
While working at Baylor Scott & White, Rachel graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Arlington Family Nurse Practitioner program. Shortly after, she rejoined Destination Health as the practice’s sole Nurse Practitioner. She has a passion for patient care throughout all stages of life and focuses on preventive medicine as well as hormone replacement therapy. She is certified in the Bale Doneen Method for heart attack and stroke prevention and is a registered BioTE provider."
