"Lauren Johnson is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and licensed by the state of Texas to provide family-centered healthcare to patients of all ages. Her scope of practice includes health promotion, disease prevention, and diagnosis and management of common and complex health care problems beginning in childhood and continuing throughout the aging process.
She began her career in health care in high school by training and working as a certified nurse assistant in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Since that time, she has accumulated 19 years of clinical experience in various roles, including medical assistant, critical care registered nurse specializing in surgery, neurosurgery, trauma, and now as a family nurse practitioner.
In addition to her extensive healthcare background, Lauren also has an outstanding academic foundation. She completed her undergraduate studies at The University of Oklahoma and Southwest Oklahoma State University. She obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from the FNP program at the University of Texas at Arlington.
With a unique combination of strong clinical skills and professional knowledge, Lauren strives to provide the best healthcare possible and believes in a trusting and long-lasting relationship with her clients. She seeks to acquire a full comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking the time to listen and truly understand their individual needs. Her passion and sincere desires are to enhance the health, well-being, and confidence of those with healthcare needs within her community."
