Always passionate about public service, Dr. Walt Carroll began his professional career as a firefighter. When he decided that he could serve more of his community through a different avenue, Dr. Carroll decided to pursue a career in medicine. Dr. Carroll began his medical career after his residence as the Medical Director of the V.A. ER in Temple, TX. In 2001, he moved with his family to San Angelo where he worked as an ER physician at San Angelo Community Medical Center. When he was approached to become the Medical Director of Concho Valley ER, Dr. Carrol felt that a step away from “corporate medicine” would be a perfect fit. Dr. Carrol enjoys serving his local community through high-quality medical care and providing a personalized experience."
