"I grew up in rural northwestern Pennsylvania and was the eldest of 3 children. Despite being the oldest, I ended up being the shortest! I spent most of my free time in childhood outdoors, exploring the countryside, and I developed a love of nature. As a young learner, I loved reading, science and math.
I attended Gannon University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biology. I subsequently headed to the sweetest place on Earth, Hershey, PA, to complete medical school, internship, dermatology residency and Micrographic Surgery and Surgical Oncology (Mohs) fellowship. I really enjoy taking care of patients with skin cancer and helping them navigate smoothly through the process. I recognize that it can be anxiety-invoking for patients to think about skin cancer and treatment, but my hope is to provide them with a calming, compassionate presence throughout their experience.
Some of my favorite free time activities include hiking, running, yoga, reading, and cooking. My fiancé and I also enjoy spending time playing ball with our well-loved black Labrador retriever, Poppy."
