Stephen E. Mahoney, MD

"Dr. Stephen Mahoney is the owner and director of West Houston Dermatology Laser & Skin Care Center, which he founded in 1993. A long time Houstonian, Dr. Mahoney graduated from Memorial High School. He attended the University of Notre Dame and graduated with honors. Upon receiving his M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Mahoney then completed his Dermatology residency at the University of Texas at Houston. He has extensive training in medical, surgical and cosmetic Dermatology allowing him to be on the cutting edge of dermatological medicine. Dr. Mahoney is Board Certified by the American Academy of Dermatology and is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Texas Medical Association, the Harris County Medical Society and the Houston Dermatological Society."

We are one of the few clinics in Houston to provide Phototherapy (UVA / Narrow Band UVB) and Xtrac Laser treatments for both psoriasis and vitiligo.
