"Dr. Rick Wilson is a preventive and cosmetic dermatologist, varicose and spider vein specialist and Director of Dermatology at Cooper Clinic. An Oklahoma native, he earned a Bachelor of Science from The University of Oklahoma and his medical degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio. Following one year of Internal Medicine training, Dr. Wilson joined the U.S. Army where he served as a flight surgeon and completed his residency in dermatology at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. He later served as Chief of Dermatology at Irwin Army Hospital, Fort Riley, Kansas.
He holds two medical certifications—the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine. Dr. Wilson has been a national and international guest lecturer on advanced LASER techniques for the skin and varicose veins.
Dr. Wilson has a passion for nature photography and in 2015 completed a 17-day whitewater rafting trip through the Grand Canyon with his daughter, Kate. Out of his desire to help others achieve good health and longevity, Dr. Wilson co-authored Ultimate Health: Live Longer – Be Lean – Be Strong! (Carpenter's Son Publishing, 2013)."
