"Dr. Bobby Kennedy, a board-certified dermatologist at Cooper Clinic, has more than 30 years of experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of skin diseases with an emphasis on the prevention and treatment of skin cancer. Born and educated in Texas, Dr. Kennedy received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from The University of Texas at Austin and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth.
Dr. Kennedy served in the U.S. Navy a total of 26 years (Active and Reserve Duty) where he completed his dermatology residency and served as a medical officer aboard ship and at numerous shore facilities in the U.S. and abroad. During his military career, Dr. Kennedy was privileged to receive additional training in Tropical Diseases at the Gorgas Memorial Laboratory in Panama.
Following Active Duty, Dr. Kennedy established and operated his private dermatology practice in Austin, Texas, 1984-2008, and he joined Cooper Clinic Dermatology in 2014.
Dr. Kennedy and his wife Linda have five children and four grandchildren. He enjoys photography, literature, art, golf, music, writing short stories and essays and traveling with his wife."
