Robert E Jackson, MD

Dr Robert (Eric) Jackson is a native of Huntsville Alabama and "Nashville transplant" by way of receiving his medical education and degree from Meharry Medical College. He completed residency through the Morehouse School of Medicine at Grady Hospital in Atlanta where he was the Intern/Resident of the year in 1997. He remained in the Atlanta area for several years after residency where he practiced in the McDonough, Stockbridge, and Decatur areas of Atlanta until relocated with his family back to the Nashville area in 2013. He initially joined renowned Internist Dr Glen Booth in practice upon his move back to Nashville and practiced with Dr Booth until Booth's retirement in 2018 at which time Dr Jackson started Jackson Primary Care. 

Dr Jackson is known and respected as a very caring, compassionate, and  attentive physician. He possesses a strong faith in Christ and he is also a very proficient musician and family man. 

Jackson Primary Care is an Internal Medicine primary care clinic established in 2018 (previously affiliated with the medical office of retired physician Dr Glen Booth). We provide compassionate, caring, attentive medical care to adults for chronic disease management, treatment, as well as prevention. We endeavor to focus on the 'whole person'  and not just the physical or particular illness or disease. Our patients are like extended family which is one of the main reasons we have transitioned from traditional "fee for service' based medicine (insurance) into Direct Primary Care---so that we can rebuild and maintain the Doctor-Patient relationship the way it was meant to be practiced---without the hindrances of 3rd parties and companies influencing what you and your doctor decide is best for YOUR well-being and health!
