James M. Osborn, MD

"James Osborn, MD, MSPH is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Osborn received his Medical Doctorate degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and his Masters of Science in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC . He was fellowship trained in adult and pediatric spine at the ACGME (Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education) accredited Chicago Spine Fellowship program in Chicago, IL. His fellowship training included Rush-Presbyterian Hospital and the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children in Oak Park IL.  Dr. Osborn completed his Orthopedic Surgery training at Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Dr. Osborn also served as a Major in the US Air Force and was the Director of Orthopedic Surgery for the 92nd Medical unit. Osborn was awarded a Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service in 1999.

Dr. Osborn has been an active member of the Chattanooga community for nearly 20 years. During that period, he has actively participated in the training of Orthopedic Surgeons as faculty of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He has previously served as the department’s Director of Adult and Pediatric Spine and is currently an Assistant Professor."
