"I am a patient advocate. This is by far my most important role as an ob/gyn physician. My approach to medicine is to look at things from a patient’s point of view and then apply my medical knowledge to it to discern different treatment options. I strive to perform sound medicine while keeping an open mind in regard to new or different approaches that are ever-emerging. My goal everyday is to help women navigate through the ups and downs of life while offering an attentive ear, a compassionate heart, and a knowledgeable mind. I joined Fort Sanders Ob/Gyn in 2003. Actually, 2003 was quite a transition-year for me. I moved back to Tennessee and started my new job. My appreciation for the wonders and woes of pregnancy and motherhood was significantly heightened in 2006 when I welcomed twins to my family. I am excited about raising Thomas and Juliana here, as I am a native East Tennessean from Jefferson County."
