"Dr. Patrick L. Morgan received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University, in Auburn, Alabama. He then attended medical school at the University of Alabama College of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis. Dr. Morgan is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the Tennessee Medical Association, the Blount County Medical Association, and the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. Dr. Morgan is affiliated with Blount Memorial Hospital, where he is the current Vice Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.
Dr. Morgan has been with Women’s Care Group for more than 22 years. He performs surgeries with the minimally invasive robotic da Vinci Surgical System. He has also seen how new technology has benefited the obstetrics side as well, improving the odds of finding high-risk babies and seeing ultrasounds change from looking “like snow on your TV” to crystal clear images."
