"After completing his undergraduate degree from David Lipscomb College in Nashville, and a Pharmacy degree from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Jones embarked on his medical career. Following his graduation in 1986 from the University of Alabama, School of Medicine in Birmingham, he performed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine through the University of Tennessee here at Nashville’s Baptist Hospital. Upon completion of his residency, he served as Chief Resident. In private practice since 1990, he is board-certified by the American College of Internal Medicine.
He is one of the founding members and past presidents of Heritage Medical Associates. Throughout his career, Dr. Jones has been a mentor and educator of medical students and young doctors. Having served on numerous boards in the Nashville area over the years, he is currently the President/Chairman of the Board of Synergy IPA which is an Independent Physicians Association. He is a member of Harpeth Hills Church of Christ.
In an effort to better serve his patient’s needs, Dr. Jones affiliated with MDVIP in October of 2011. This model of healthcare has allowed him the ability to maintain an exceedingly high level of care with a much more comprehensive and personalized approach."
