"Carissa is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and earned both her BSN and MSN from the University of Memphis. As a registered nurse, she specialized in medical-surgical and stroke care at Methodist University Hospital for 8 years. She completed her adult FNP rotation at Solutions, and fell in love with functional medicine. According to Carissa, “finding the root cause of patient problems and helping patients get to a healthier, better state of well-being is one of the most rewarding experiences as a health care provider.” Carissa has been a part of the Solutions Medical Center’s team since 2015."
