"Martin J. Kerzer, DO (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) has been a family physician in RI since 1980. Dr. Kerzer graduated from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1977 and completed his Family Medicine Residency at Union Memorial Hospital in New Jersey in 1980. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. Kerzer is a member of the Rhode Island Medical Society, Rhode Island Academy of Family Physicians, Rhode Island Society of Osteopathic Physicians, American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. Dr. Kerzer is also on the board of Integra, and is the vice chair of the RI Physician Health Program, a committee of the RI Medical Society. The committee addresses and helps physicians with health issues.
Dr. Kerzer is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at Brown Medical School and received the Dean's Teaching Excellence Award. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Kerzer serves as one of the Medical Directors of Rhode Island Primary Care Physicians Corporation (RIPCPC) and was awarded Physician of the Year in 2009."
