"I am originally from Aliquippa, PA where my parents Janice and Sam still reside. My younger brother Nick, three years my junior, practices law down the hall from me! I attended St. Titus Elementary school in Aliquippa before attending Our Lady of the Sacred Heart High School in Moon Township (graduated in 1999). My travels then led to me Meadville, PA for my undergraduate studies at Allegheny College. Fortunately, my first two preclinical years of medical school were spent in Bradenton, Florida at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) Bradenton. I received my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree June 8, 2008. My Internship and Internal Medicine residency were completed at UPMC Mercy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania between 2008-2011."

"My Way Medical, named for Dr. Urick's favorite Frank Sinatra song, seeks to show patients that "My Way" is better than the insurance company's way, better than the fee for service system (which he has experienced firsthand), better than the status quo in today's healthcare system. Patients deserve better. You deserve better. At present My Way Medical is unable to accept new patients on Medicare or Medicaid due to insurance regulations. Patients with an HMO insurance plan (where a PCP must be listed on your card) would not be able to join My Way Medical due to certain restrictions."
