"After practicing in the Lehigh Valley for 15 years, Dr. Kimberly Legg Corba opened the first Direct Primary Care office in the Lehigh Valley on January 2, 2016. The transition from her established practice to the Direct Primary Care model allows Dr. Corba to continue to provide the highest quality care, for which she has been rated by insurers in the past, while continuing to focus on her patients’ needs with unmatched affordability and convenience. The DPC model will allow more time and attention to her patients and provide all services at a major discount so her patients can get the best for their health care dollars. Therefore, Green Hills Direct Family Care will no longer accept insurance. Dr. Corba graduated with her medical degree from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1993. She completed her Rotating Internship at Allentown Osteopathic Medical Center in 1994. Dr. Corba completed a year of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency in 1995 at Temple University Hospital and then decided to pursue Family Practice and went on to complete her Residency in 1997 at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. From March until June 1997, Dr. Corba was an Associate Clinical Professor at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine before joining Norriton Family Medicine in Norristown, PA. In 2001, she went on to practice at Emmaus Avenue Family Practice before starting Green Hills Family Health Care in 2003 where she has been a solo Family Practitioner for over 12 years. It is Dr. Corba’s love of science and learning about the greatest feat of engineering, the human body, that made her want to become a doctor. She loves the ability to use her knowledge to help people, which is evident by her extensive volunteer work. In her office, she precepts third year medical students from University of South Florida Medical School Select Program through Lehigh Valley Health Network. Other accolades include being the Associate Clinical Professor at DeSales University and having the Physician Assistant students from 2010-2015. She has served as a board member for Parkland School District Education Foundation since 2013 where she currently serves as secretary. Dr. Corba also gave her time as the Chapter Advisor for the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority at Muhlenberg College from 2009 – 2014. She was a Member at Large on the Lehigh County Medical Society Board from 2012 – 2013.
