"Dr. Walsh is a Board Certified Pediatrician, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics with over 30 years experience taking care of children, from newborns to teenagers. She graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and followed post-graduate studies as part of a Ph.D. program. She studied and gained experience from other pediatric schools in various countries across Europe, including France, Italy and Denmark. As an assistant professor at the same university in Cluj, she shared this knowledge with students, training the next generation of doctors. After moving to the USA, she completed a second pediatric residency at St. Joseph Children Hospital in Patterson New Jersey. She then moved to Bucks County and worked in a thriving community pediatric care practice. Getting to the root of a child’s recurring health issues and not just treating the symptoms was the driving force behind her training at the Institute for Functional Medicine. She is a Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner and is passionate about partnering with parents and caregivers to navigate a child’s health journey to a more wholistic well being."
