"Dr. Valerie Donaldson is the Founder and Medical Director of Regenerative Medicine Center (RMC).
She graduated from Rush Medical College and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and certified in Anti-Aging Medicine, Functional Medicine, and Stem Cell Therapy. As an attending physician at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital Emergency Department, she authored research papers on the effects of Incubation Techniques on the Traumatic Cervical Spine and the use of lab results in the Emergency Room.
Dr. Donaldson prides herself in being ahead of her time in many areas of medicine.
After leaving the ER in pursuit of her passion in Anti-Aging, Functional Medicine, and stem cell therapy, Dr. Donaldson was the first attending physician at the first complementary center in Pittsburgh, UPMC Center for Complementary Medicine under the direction of Lewis Mel-Madrona, MD.
She left UPMC Complementary Medicine Center to open a solo practice. Here she became the first physician in Pittsburgh to be certified in Anti-Aging Medicine.
Pursuing her passion in studying bioidentical hormones, she was the first physician in Pittsburgh to attend international courses in bioidentical hormone replacement, to be certified in the Wiley Protocol, and be a certified BioTe Hormone pellet specialist.
In 2000, Dr. Donaldson became the first doctor in the world to introduce vibroacoustic, color and light therapy now called Light Portal™ into her practice allowing her patients a meditative experience which she feels is important throughout life."
