Michelina Fato, MD

"Dr. Michelina Fato was born in Italy and immigrated to the United States at the age of 6.  She is fluent in Italian.   She has spent most of her life in the Pittsburgh area and considers Pittsburgh her home.

She graduated from Chatham College Magna Cum Laude with Honors in 1981.  Dr. Fato went on to graduate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 1986. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at UPMC in 1989. She has taken care of patients and held various academic positions and appointments over the past 20 years. Dr. Fato left academic medicine in 2006 to found Medico, the first concierge medicine practice of its kind in the Pittsburgh region. 

Dr. Fato is board certified in Internal Medicine and has added qualifications in both Adolescent Medicine and Geriatric Medicine."
