"Although Rebecca Plute, MD, left Washington County to pursue her medical training, she returned to her lifelong home to bring all of that expertise to her community. During her residency, she served as Chief Resident and was awarded Resident Teacher of the Year. Today, Dr. Plute is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association, and more. She also serves as a staff physician at The Washington Hospital in Washington, Pennsylvania.
