"Dr. Mary Parks Lamb is a Cum Laude graduate of Princeton University. She then went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Virginia Medical School. Dr. Lamb trained at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, St. Margaret, for her residency where she served as Chief Resident. She completed a fellowship in academic family medicine before beginning her career in teaching. Dr. Lamb’s career began in the Washington Health System with the Family Medicine Residency Program. During this time she spent ten years in academic medicine and developed expertise in women’s health and sports medicine. In 2007, Dr. Lamb went on to start a new venture, The Urgent Care Center, where she served as medical director. During this time she honed her skills in all types of acute care management and concussion evaluation. In 2011, Dr. Lamb started and grew a highly successful family medicine practice, Lakeside Primary Care. It was here where she received advanced training in aesthetics and built a thriving aesthetic practice alongside primary care. Recognizing the limitations of the traditional patient-care model after a very difficult time losing her sister Susan to cancer, Dr. Lamb founded Lamb Medical in 2016 to provide exceptional, comprehensive, personalized care to her patients. Dr. Mary Parks Lamb has many interests including: women’s health, musculoskeletal care and sports medicine, dermatology and aesthetic medicine, patient education, and preventative/wellness care. Outside of her medical practice, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband and three teenage sons doing all kinds of sports and enjoying all things hockey. Every summer you will find her following the Dave Matthews Band, boating on the rivers of Pittsburgh, and vacationing on her cherished Nantucket Island."
