"Dr. Paul has served in academic positions at the University of Washington (UW) for the past 20 years and is currently Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
Dr. Paul served as team psychiatrist and head of behavioral health at the UW Diabetes Care Center for the past 20 years.
Since 1997, he was principal investigator or co-investigator on clinical trials funded by the NIH and CDC in the areas of collaborative care for depression, diabetes and heart disease, epilepsy, and in geriatric populations. He also received a Career Development Award through NIDDK exploring the influences of attachment styles on treatment outcomes in diabetes."
