John Polansky, MD

"Dr. Polansky is a board-certified licensed ophthalmologist who has been practicing in Eugene since 1976. Originally from the East Coast, Dr. Polansky is a 1968 graduate of Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Following his graduation, Dr. Polansky completed extensive training in some of the most prestigious Ophthalmology programs in the United States. Dr.

Polansky’s internship was completed in the Los Angeles area at Wadsworth VA Hospital, followed by a fellowship at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. His residency was completed in 1975 at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Along with practicing general Ophthalmology, Dr. Polansky has developed a passion for Cataract and Diabetic eye care. He also has an extensive knowledge in the diagnosis and treatment of Glaucoma and Macular Degeneration."
