"Allan A. Hunter, M.D., a board certified ophthalmologist, received his undergraduate degree from The Johns Hopkins University and stayed in Baltimore for medical school and residency. Afterwards, he completed his medical retinal fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.
During this time, he was awarded the prestigious “K Award” studying age-related macular degeneration. Dr. Hunter then moved to California to complete the acclaimed vitreo-retinal surgical fellowship at the University of California, Davis.
A retinal expert, Dr. Hunter is an award-winning presenter and a highly published author in multiple ophthalmic journals. He has also served as principal investigator on numerous clinical research projects.
Dr. Hunter enjoys running, hiking, biking and skiing with his wife and four children in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Dr. Hunter™s scientific and medical publications can be seen on Google Scholar."
