"Dr. Weeks attended medical school at The University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. After medical school, he completed a residency in Family Practice at Memorial Medical Center in Corpus Christi, Texas where he won the Spinks Award for Outstanding Resident. After Residency, Dr. Weeks wanted to practice in a remote area so he chose Nome, Alaska with a population of around 3,000 and the nearest specialist was 500 miles away. He spent seven adventurous years in Nome, then moved to Richland Center, Wisconsin. Richland Center was a great experience in another small community with a population of 7,000. After six years in Wisconsin, Dr. Weeks moved to Prineville, Oregon in 2002 to be closer to his family. He enjoyed his seven years practicing in Prineville, however the hospital stopped offering Obstetrical services which was a large part of its practice and a passion of Dr. Weeks’, so he moved his practice to Bend, OR. Dr. Weeks designed and built our current office which opened in September 2010. With his many years of experience in rural settings with no specialty services available, he has become quite comfortable with a wide range of services including Obstetrical, Newborn care, Dermatology, Orthopedics and Chronic Disease management. In Dr. Weeks’ spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and loves all the outdoor activities Central Oregon has to offer."
