"I grew up in Southwest Portland and moved back to the Portland area after spending many years away to pursue my education. I believe that prevention is the key to long term health. I have a personal interest in nutrition, fitness and wellness. These interests lead me to pursue a career in nursing. One of the reasons I chose nursing was because I loved that a big part of nursing was health education. Health education and lifestyle modification are the first interventions I use to treat patients whenever possible. I have a special interest in women’s health and diabetes but one of the things I enjoy about family medicine is the variety and the ability to watch patients succeed in improving and maintaining their health over time.
I was drawn to Greenfield because they value the provider-patient relationship, giving adequate time for providers to assess the whole patient during visits. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, cooking, biking, hiking, golfing and running."
