"Matt Clark is a board-certified dermatologist and a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon. While he is highly specialized in skin cancer care and Mohs Surgery, Dr. Clark also provides full-spectrum dermatology care to adult and pediatric patients.
Dr. Clark was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida and his initial interest in medicine came from his mother and father, a nurse and dentist, respectively. He attended the University of Florida for his undergraduate degree, graduating summa cum laude. He then stayed at the University of Florida to obtain his Medical Doctorate, where he graduated cum laude and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Clark completed a dermatology residency at the University of Michigan and subsequently completed his fellowship in micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
Dr. Clark was drawn to dermatology because of the positive impact improving skin health has on patients’ lives. It also affords the unique opportunity to treat patients of all ages, both medically and surgically. He developed a specific passion for dermatologic oncology, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and most importantly, prevention of skin cancer. He loves Mohs surgery because it allows him to form unique relationships with his patients while treating their skin cancer."
