"Lindsey’s interest in medicine was sparked at a young age while hearing stories about her grandfather, a primary care and ENT physician from Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was touched by the stories of him serving his local community and serving as Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Medical Corps during WWII as chief physician in Tunisia, Africa, where he treated Winston Churchill for pneumonia. Lindsey dabbled in other activities as a young woman, such as dance, theater, horseback riding, soccer, painting, and girl scouts, but she found a particular passion for medicine.
Born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Gainesville, Florida, she attended the University of Florida. She received her undergraduate in Public Health and Health Professions and her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. Since graduating, Lindsey has practiced dermatology in both private practice and academic settings. She has experience treating an array of dermatological conditions and performing various cosmetic procedures and enjoys all aspects of dermatology. Most of all, Lindsey enjoys developing professional relationships and rapport with her patients. Her philosophy is to treat the patient as a whole and with the approach that not all one size fits all when developing a treatment plan.
Lindsey is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants."
