"Fatima Jaffrey, MD grew up in Oklahoma City, and is blessed to have three generations of family who currently reside in Edmond, Oklahoma. She attended college at the Washington University in St. Louis earning a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology. She then returned to Oklahoma where she attended the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine from 1998-2002 earning her degree of Medical Doctor. Dr. Jaffrey actively and passionately advocated for patients and families as a medical student in the role of national board member to the American Medical Student Association. This led her to the New Hampshire-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency Program, where she was one of two nationally chosen candidates for physician leadership and Family Medicine clinical training. After graduation from residency in 2006, she returned to Oklahoma City to practice as a Hospitalist at Mercy Health Center. She subsequently moved to Long Island, New York to support her husband’s residency training in Neurological Surgery. For 6 years Dr. Jaffrey was an employed faculty member in the Department of Medicine, Director of Outcomes Research at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and served on founding committees to establish the new NSLIJ-Hofstra School of Medicine. She is a Harvard-Macy Scholar in Healthcare Education and Innovation. In 2013 she earned a Masters in Health Delivery Science from Dartmouth College’s Tuck Business School enabling her to lead and evaluate the value of the modern healthcare delivery to patients and employers. She has now opened a medical practice that she has dreamed of for years, which she believes will help revolutionize the experience of primary care for patients, families, and employers by bending the cost curve. Dr. Jaffrey met the love of her life while studying at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. Dr. Nathaniel Stetson, born and raised in Maine, is a practicing Neurosurgeon in Oklahoma City, and they have been married since 2003. With a deep shared commitment to family, they moved back home to Oklahoma City to establish their home. Their home away from home is in Bangor, Maine.
