"Carol Voigtlander, an Advanced Practice Nurse, has been interested in natural health and nutrition for over 25 years. She grew up in a home where her mom was a dietitian and stressed healthy eating. She remembers when her mom would ration out her Halloween candy and throw most of it away. As a result, nutrition has been a major role in her life since childhood. While she obtained her Bachelor in Science degree in Nursing from Oral Roberts University, she learned about the importance of the relationship between body, mind and spirit which she incorporates into her daily practice. When Carol was working in hospitals, she realized that traditional medicine did not have all the answers, so her passion for treating the whole person without drugs or chemicals grew. Since then she is constantly looking at new ideas to help individuals towards health. Carol also has a Masters in Nursing Education. She enjoys teaching all her clients during their appointments. In addition, she has lectured on numerous topics including: Nutrition and its Relation to Health and Disease, Colon Health, Eating Healthy through the Holidays, Females and their Hormones, Good Fats/Bad Fats and Oxygen Therapy. She has lectured to the public and health care professionals both locally and internationally."
