"Dr. Wood is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He is a current member and President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Oklahoma Academy of Otolaryngology, Honor Award Winner and Oklahoma State Representative to the Board of Governors of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, and has served as Chairman, Baptist Medical Center, Ear, Nose and Throat Department, along with The Ministries of Jesus, a free clinic in Edmond, Oklahoma. Dr. Wood's professional interests are related primarily to hearing and chronic ear disease, he enjoys helping patients achieve their best hearing outcome with repair of damaged ears from disease, injury or inherited hearing loss. As a co-investigator for the Nucleus Hybrid L24 Cochlear Implant study, he has continue to collaborate with Hearts for Hearing to offer professional evaluation and care related to hearing amplification, middle ear surgery, cochlear implants and other implantable hearing devices. Dr. Wood Strives to stay up to date with modern techniques for management of chronic ear diseases, such as a cute and chronic infection, cholesteatoma, dermatitis diseases affecting the ear and balance disorders related to the ear. Dr. Wood joined Oklahoma Otolaryngology Associates July 2018 and currently sees patients in our Edmond and NW Oklahoma City Hearts for Hearing locations. Dr. Woods enjoys spending time with his wife, Amy. They are active members of Henderson Hills Baptist Church in Edmond. Dr. Woods is an active runner, he has completed over 30 marathons and is a finisher of the Mother Road 100 Ultra-marathon, 2010 as well as the Boston Marathon in 2018."
