"Plaxico is a self-declared “Cowboy by blood,” who is proud to call Edmond his home. He has been married to his lovely wife, Michelle, for 16 years and together they have a family of three daughters who are being brought up with the same “Cowboy blood” and Oklahoma charm that Dr. Plaxico is known for.
The opportunity to focus more time on patient care and still have all the resources of a large ER is what makes working at Oklahoma ER & Hospital so appealing for Dr. Plaxico. He has been fortunate to have gained experience from many different ER settings, with over 10 years of experience at a Level 1 trauma center. Dr. Plaxico also worked at specialty hospitals.
In his free time, Dr. Plaxico enjoys many hobbies from gardening to fly fishing to even practicing piano. His favorite activity, however, is spending time with his family. The Plaxico family are members of Oakdale Baptist Church and are blessed to have many supportive friends, family, and colleagues. They enjoy traveling, and I have learned that there is never a dull moment when traveling as a family. So far, raising three daughters has been Dr. Plaxico’s most rewarding challenge."
