"Dr. Marguerite Weston graduated from Ohio Northern University with a degree in Molecular Biology. She continued her education at The Medical College of Ohio and completed a Family Medicine residency in Toledo Ohio with an additional fellowship in Sports Medicine. She first started her career with the University of Toledo. However, life moved her to the University of Oklahoma where she served as one of the Team Physicians for over 6 years. Her husband’s career moved them to the University of Wisconsin for a short time before coming back home to Ohio. In 2019 she obtained her certification in Functional Medicine from the Institute For Functional Medicine. For the last two years she has been named one of Columbus Monthly’s Top Doctors. She currently serves as one of the Team Physicians for Otterbein University.
Through the years as a team physician and Wellness Team director for The University of Oklahoma, Dr. Weston’s knowledge of nutrition has grown. She has always been active playing soccer through college (Go Polar Bears!) and continues to run and exercise. She loves combining her love of sport, nutrition and preventative medicine to help others feel their best. Being traditionally trained she is able to meet patients where they are in their health journey and create attainable goals and lifestyle changes. Whether it be decreasing medications, decreasing cardiac risk, reversing diabetes, balancing hormones, weight loss, increasing energy or just feeling more like the you you envision. Her goal is to walk alongside patients to help them become the healthiest version of themselves, being better each day with a mantra of progress not perfection."
